The 13th Session of the Jammu and Kashmir Science Congress will be held in the UNIVERSITY OF KASHMIR on the focal theme of “Emerging Technologies and Human Society: Applications and Constraints” from 17th March to 19th March 2018. Theme of the congress is apt as the current pace of technological developments bring about profound changes in the societies. It is impacting all facets of life, economies and industries. The proceedings shall be published both as an e-book as well as a printed book with ISBN.
The Congress shall include panel discussions on the following topics:
- Taming State Science and Technology Policy for Fostering Innovation and Entrepreneurship
- Towards Building Cyber Security Awareness and Responsible Cyber Culture within the Society
- Biological Interventions: Ethical, Legal and Social Issues
- Sustainable Development: Policy and Practice
Panelist Proposals are welcome.
The JKSC-2018 invites academicians to propose special sessions that can be included in the Congress. Session chairs will have to arrange a minimum of 20 papers for their sessions and review the same. The session chairs will be given free registration pass to the Congress. Free accommodation will be arranged for them during the conference days inside or around the University of Kashmir. Papers accepted under a particular special session will be published in the proceedings of the Congress.
National Seminar on Electronic Devices, Systems, and Information Security (SEEDS-2018), organised by Department of Electronics and Instrumentation Technology. The seminar comprises of three tracks namely a) Electronic Devices and Systems, b) Signal Processing and Communication Engineering, and c) Information Security.
